These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of FitTraveler, a mobile-first fitness platform available at fittraveler.com ("FitTraveler," "we," "us"). Please read them carefully.

1.Acceptance of these Terms

By creating an account or using FitTraveler, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2.Description of the service

FitTraveler helps people who train on the road. It lets you log workouts, follow and adapt training plans to the equipment on hand, snap photos of gym equipment and meals for AI analysis, track body metrics and goals, find nearby gyms, and share your progress with buddies, trainers, and teams that you choose. Features may change, launch, or be retired as the product evolves.

3.Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use FitTraveler. You're responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your login secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support@fittraveler.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

4.Acceptable use

When using FitTraveler, you agree not to:

Break the law, infringe others' rights, or violate anyone's privacy;
Upload content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, or that you don't have the right to share;
Attempt to access other members' data, accounts, or private photos and logs;
Probe, scrape, overload, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the service or its security;
Impersonate others or misrepresent a coaching or professional relationship;
Use the service to build a competing product or resell it without permission.

5.Health & fitness disclaimer

FitTraveler is not a medical service and does not provide medical advice. The workouts, plans, and information in the app are for general fitness and informational purposes only, and are not a substitute for advice from a qualified physician or healthcare professional.

Consult your physician before starting any exercise program, changing your training, or acting on nutrition estimates — especially if you have an injury, a medical condition, or any concern about your ability to exercise safely. Exercise carries inherent risks. You train at your own risk, and you are responsible for using good judgment, listening to your body, and stopping if something feels wrong.

6.AI-generated content disclaimer

FitTraveler uses AI to draft and adapt training plans and to estimate calories and macros from food photos. This content is generated algorithmically and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Calorie and macro figures are approximations, not measurements, and AI-suggested plans are not guaranteed to be appropriate for you.

Always apply your own judgment and, where it matters, verify with a qualified professional. Do not rely on AI output as medical, nutritional, or professional advice.

7.Your content and intellectual property

You retain ownership of the content you create — your logs, photos, metrics, and other data. You choose who can see it (see our Privacy Policy).

To operate the service, you grant FitTraveler a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, display, and transmit your content solely to provide FitTraveler to you and the people you share with (for example, running AI analysis on a photo you submit, or showing a workout to a trainer you've authorized). This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies retained as described in the Privacy Policy or required by law.

The FitTraveler name, logo, software, and design are our property and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms don't grant you any right to use them beyond using the service as intended.

8.Coach, trainer, and team features

FitTraveler lets you connect with buddies, trainers, and teams, and lets trainers post and tailor workouts for members who authorize them. Any coaching relationship is between you and that person or organization — FitTraveler does not employ, endorse, or supervise trainers and is not responsible for the advice, plans, or conduct of other members. Share access only with people you trust, and treat others' shared content and personal data respectfully and confidentially. We may suspend accounts that abuse these features.

9.Subscriptions and billing

FitTraveler is free to use during launch. We plan to offer paid "Pro" plans in the future. If and when paid plans launch, we'll clearly present pricing and terms before you're asked to pay. You will not be charged without notice and your consent. Any future subscription terms (renewals, refunds, cancellation) will be presented at the time of purchase.

10.Termination

You may stop using FitTraveler and request account deletion at any time by emailing support@fittraveler.com. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, or where necessary to protect members or comply with the law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as disclaimers, IP, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

11.Disclaimers and limitation of liability

FitTraveler is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FitTraveler and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from personal injury, your use of AI estimates or plans, reliance on the service, or loss of data. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greatest extent the law allows.

12.Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [State/Country — to be set by FitTraveler], without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in that jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

13.Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product and legal landscape change. When we make material changes we'll update the effective date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
